Troop 460 Philmont Trip 2009

July 2- July 15, 2009

Philmont is an “ Opportunity of a Lifetime!” As a part of the Baltimore Area Council "contingent" , Troop 460 has a chance to attend Philmont Scout Reservation in the summer of 2009. This is a boy run excursion and a tremendous leadership training experience for all Boy Scouts and Scouters.

ELIGIBLE SCOUTS
Philmont participants must be at least 14 by January 1 of the year they attend, or have completed the eighth grade and be at least 13 years of age prior to participation. To avoid disappointment, please do not request or expect exceptions! Requirements for Philmont participation cannot be relaxed. Our other requirement is the scout must be 1st class by the time we leave on the trip

ESTIMATED PHILMONT COSTS
Costs for Philmont will be $540.00 plus transportation. Total costs is expected to be approximately $1,500.00 possibly cut in half with successfull fund raising.
